Introducing Students to EdReady MT

Summary of Session:

The Introducing Students to EdReady MT professional development session will provide teachers and facilitators with various tools and tips from the field collected to help them facilitate a successful implementation of the EdReady MT program in their teaching environment. Attendees will be asked to imagine a successful program and work to build a first day lesson plan that helps establish a solid foundation towards their imagined goal. Additionally, attendees will learn how to continue to further build upon their foundation for a successful program and foster positive student attitudes towards EdReady MT.

Session Duration:

Introducing Students to EdReady MT will take approximately 45 – 1 hour.

Session Objectives:

Upon completion of Introducing Students to EdReady MT, session attendees will understand:

  • Best practices for introducing students to EdReady MT.
  • Possible challenges to introducing students to EdReady MT.
  • How to respond to frequently asked questions.
  • How to incorporate tips from the field in their teaching environment.

  • Administrators
  • Teachers
  • Special Education Teachers
  • Para-Professionals
  • Tutors
  • Any other position working with the students and monitoring their math progress.
